Band

Students in 6th grade through 8th grade are offered band classes as part of our weekly music program. Band instruments include all orchestral wind instruments and percussion instruments.

Aside from our regular curriculum, students are able to participate in

  • Pep Band
  • Jazz Band
  • other chamber music ensembles.

The FSA Band program participates in GMEA District V in events such as LGPE, All-State Band, and Honor Jazz Band.

Fulton Science Academy | Virtual Band Concert; "Dragon Dance"

The FSA Middle School Band students performed a Virtual Band Concert on Friday, May 15, 2020. This is their version of “Dragon Dance.” Band Director Mrs. Otim said, This was all compiled and put together from virtual school! Not bad for middle school and only one month of in-person rehearsal!
