  • Congressional Award  The Congressional Award is an award for young Americans, established by the United States Congress in 1979 to "recognize initiative, service, and achievement in young people.
  • Presidential Service Awards  The President's Volunteer Service Award is a civil award bestowed by the President of the United States. This award was established to honor volunteers that give hundreds of hours per year helping others through the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation.
  • Georgia Student Service Award  To qualify for the Georgia Student Service Award, a graduating senior student must complete a minimum of 200 service/volunteer hours.
  • U.S. Presidential Scholars Program  Recognize students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative and performing arts. and recognize students who demonstrate ability and accomplishment in career and technical education fields
  • Governor’s Honors Program The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program. 
  • NSPA - Honor Roll of Student Journalists Through education, training and recognition programs for members, National Scholastic Press Association promotes the standards and ethics of good journalism as accepted and practiced by print, broadcast and electronic media in the United States.

  • TeenLife  lists a number of summer programs and opportunities. You can filter programs by various interests.
  • MirCORE  MirCORE is a medical research program that is open to HS students. Students may join summer camps or year-long opportunities to make medical reasearch within groups and compete through presentations
  • GNFCC Emerging Leaders Program The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) offers a unique opportunity for sophomores and juniors from North Fulton high schools who wish to develop leadership skills, identify and address community issues and interact with local leaders.
  • Envision Envision offers over 10 career-focused programs for HS students. Envision by WorldStrides programs are designed to empower, engage, and equip next generation leaders to realize the power of their potential with amazing hands-on career exploration, state-of-the-art simulations, and experiences our alumni call “amazing” and parents call “transformational.”   
  • National Student Leadership Conference The National Student Leadership Conference is a program that corrdinates 30+ different career-focused leadership conferences for high school students
  • Inspirit AI - MIT Artificial Intelligence Education Program by Stanford and MIT Graduate Students
  • Future Docs abroad Allowing HS students to shadow medical doctors in different countries
  • 21st Century Leaders - Summer Program 21st Century Leaders connects, transforms, and inspires high school students across Georgia to leverage-diversity, explore career opportunities, and become leaders in their schools, communities, and ultimately the workforce. 
  • Lumiere Research Program Founded by Harvard and Oxford researchers, the Lumiere Research Scholar Program offers students the opportunity to work 1-on-1 with a PhD mentor to learn about the cutting edge in their field of interest and produce an independently-developed research project

  • Coursera Founded by Stanford professor, Coursera works with universities and other organizations to offer online courses, certifications, and degrees in a variety of subjects. There is a big variety of courses in computer and technology field.
  • Edx edx, created by Harvard and MIT, It hosts online university-level courses in a wide range of disciplines to a worldwide student body, including some courses at no charge
  • Udemy  Started primarily to help student to improve job-related skills. Some courses generate credit toward technical certification. Great reseource for students seeking certification in technology

  •  Collegeboard offers a useful search engine for all colleges as well as school profiles for over 4,000 colleges and universities in the US.
