This stop motion animation camp is the perfect introduction to the art of stop motion! The instructor, Ms. Harrington, will be there every step of the way, helping you create your very own stop motion videos and clips. Wow others by making all your favorite toys, figures, LEGOs, and clay or play-dough come alive using stop motion animation with your smartphone or tablet!

Why is it important that we celebrate Juneteenth?
Juneteenth is a holiday for the independence of African Americans in the United States; celebrated on June 19th. Students will read and make creative writing pieces to celebrate a week long of Juneteenth.

A Fun Virtual Music Class with Real Results!
Our teachers will guide students through finger-style techniques used across all genres and help students develop a deep understanding of fretboards. Investigating the Mysteries of Science:
Open to Rising 3rd – 5th Grade
Do you consider yourself a scientist? Do you enjoy investigating mysteries like a detective? Do you wish every class was science class? Do you enjoy hands-on science activities? If so, then this is the summer camp for you! What we investigate over the course of this camp is up to YOU! If you’re interested in joining us, complete the form and choose the 5 science topics you are most interested in. Investigations will then be chosen based on the most popular topics picked. Each day we will focus on a different topic, completing 1-2 activities per day. Topics to choose from include fossils, the human brain, electrical energy, planets within the solar system, and many more!

SAT MATH:
The SAT Math Camp is designed to prepare students for the math section of the SAT. Students will be trained on SAT Math concepts from pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry on top of exploring a systematic fashion of mastering techniques used on the SAT Math Exam. The SAT Math Camp is envisioned to equip students with a variety of questioning styles seen on the SAT in addition to cultivating & strengthening their problem solving skills along with their math skills.

The SAT Verbal Camp is designed to prepare students for the verbal section of the SAT, including SAT Reading and SAT Writing and Language.. Students will be trained on SAT Verbal concepts the main ideas of a passage, link claims with evidence, make inferences based on the passage, define vocabulary words in context, and synthesize information within and between passages as well as between a passage and graphs/figures, and additionally review grammar rules, language use, and rhetorical strategies. The SAT Verbal Camp is envisioned to equip students with a variety of questioning styles seen on the SAT.

FINANCIAL LITERACY:
The summer camp is designed to teach youth about generational wealth, stocks, options, business strategies and more. Students will watch videos and recommended resources to read to increase their knowledge on financial literacy. Topics discussed will include, but are not limited to stocks, mutual funds, options, IRAs, cryptocurrency, reselling businesses. real estate and credit tips. We will use a trading simulation software where students may obtain their own account, invest and keep tract of investments as the market changes in real life time.

POETRY WORKSHOP:
The Poetry Workshop is designed to help students find a creative outlet while simultaneously improving their writing skills generally. This camp is designed to guide students through the drafting and revising process of poetic works, exploring different forms of poetry and poetic techniques that can help elevate a student’s artistic vision. Content discussed is directly tied to excellence in ELA subjects, including more figurative and non-literal activities that are typically more challenging to discern.
