Fulton Science Academy Private School is unique due to its high population of advanced and gifted students. In addition to our high entrance standards, grade level placement decisions are multi-faceted and weighted more on student ability and social maturity than their age. We offer S.T.E.A.M. education to meet the growing demand for higher level logic and reasoning skills that will be necessary for the future success of our students. Additionally, we work to develop student presentation, writing, organization, and time-management abilities from the earliest grades, so that our students are well-prepared for all their future endeavors.Â
Utilizing a STEAM curriculum platform to educate our students, we are incorporating Art to complement our STEM curriculum, in order to further advance creativity and critical thinking skills. Through the incorporation of artistic subjects and studies, students engage more fully in their academic environment and further develop personal interests, gain confidence in their abilities, refine communication skills, and find outlets to express themselves to develop a more fully accomplished individual. All grade levels participate in both music and art classes weekly. Further, several after school club offerings support the FSAPS art studies, such as, art club, music ensemble, orchestra, band, creative writing, drama, and dance.
Fulton Science Academy Private School offers many academic teams and after-school clubs to complement core academic studies, enhance social development skills, and/or allow for students to explore and develop specialized interests. Current academic teams include Math Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Model UN, Robotics, Chess Team, Lego Team, and Technology Team. Our after-school program club offerings include Hands-On Science Club, Debate Club, Media Club, Yearbook, Nature Explorers, Adventures in Reading, Cooking Club, and Puzzle & Games Club. Athletic clubs include soccer, basketball, fencing, volleyball, table tennis, and running. FSAPS develops and hosts academic invitational competitions, such as Math Geniuses, to provide another opportunity for our students to compare their skills to others and promote academic growth.
