Fulton Science Academy Students Raised $8K for Pediatric Cancer Research
Wow… what a day! I am so incredibly proud of our students! This month, they achieved something that no other student group in our school has achieved in the past 15 years.
In less than one month, students raised $8,045.87 for pediatric cancer research through a variety of fundraising activities that ranged from baked sales to lemonade stands to sacrificing their own allowance to help other children in need.
Our school’s character themes for the month of September are care, compassion, and kindness. Once again, our students have shown us that they are not only very successful academically, but that they are also great human beings with huge and caring hearts. Well done, children…we are so proud of you!
Please enjoy this brief video which shows just some of the ways our kids supported this charitable outreach initiative.
